Prada in flames

Some of my favourite shoes are from Prada and I was 'window-shopping' online for some pretty heels when I stumbled across these. Flame sandals, they're called. And they would be a bit funny if they weren't so hideous (except a magazine I read after writing a draft of this post called these a 'catwalk hit' - but then again anything goes on the catwalk, the more unrealistic the better). They cost well over 1000 USD a pair. So what I would like to know is: WHO is crazy enough to buy shoes like these? Please, if you are or you know someone who is, do let me know!
