I don't. I like the idea of wearing a coat dress but this one's not my style. I don't like it on her and I don't like the ankle boots, either. I wasn't inspired by this. Sorry, Kate.

Prada in flames

Some of my favourite shoes are from Prada and I was 'window-shopping' online for some pretty heels when I stumbled across these. Flame sandals, they're called. And they would be a bit funny if they weren't so hideous (except a magazine I read after writing a draft of this post called these a 'catwalk hit' - but then again anything goes on the catwalk, the more unrealistic the better). They cost well over 1000 USD a pair. So what I would like to know is: WHO is crazy enough to buy shoes like these? Please, if you are or you know someone who is, do let me know!

New winter faves

I find winter so depressing. It's too cold to go out so I don't go shopping as often. And trying on clothes is such a pain when you've got layers on. So I went for the easy option and got some make-up and skincare products.

First, a stop at the Laura Mercier counter. I got a sheer red lipstick called Poppy. It's my first lip product from LM. It's hydrating, it goes on smoothly and I love the colour.

Did you have a romantic Valentine's Day? Well, with William in the Falklands, the Duchess was on her own but she did apparently receive a card and some flowers from him. She spent the day in Liverpool, visiting a children's hospital. She looked lovely in a plain black wool dress and plain brown wool coat, a very down-to-earth and appropriate look.
